Greetings, my name is Darren A. Weber, Sr., also known as “Coach Plai”, and I am excited at the amazing opportunity to be your Personal Trainer. I have always had a passion for fitness and helping people reach their nutrition and health goals. I have been involved in the fitness industry for over twenty (20)+ years. I currently hold certifications as a Personal Trainer, Tactical Conditioning Specialist, Fitness Coach, and Nutritionist. My expertise in these fields has allowed me to examine health and wellness from a multidimensional perspective: physically, mentally, spiritually, as well as scientifically. I am confident that the experience and talent that I possess will not only be a great benefit to the both of us; but it will be the beginning of a beautiful partnership.
The experience that I have garnered derives from working with youth and young adults in field and track; adult clientele pursuing specific fitness goals for personal and/or medical purposes; elderly clients seeking to continue mobility and/or desiring to attain specific fitness objectives per medical requests; and clients with specified limiting conditions that require modifications in the workout routine. Being in the fitness industry has given me the opportunity to help clients lose weight, gain muscle, alter their meal planning, and live a healthier, enriching life. It is of the utmost importance to me to support the objectives that my individual clients have. I make it a priority to respect my clients’ by encouraging them in a professional and encouraging manner; always keeping in mind that they are human with feelings and emotions, just like me. I aim to be relatable with the clients that I work with, and when needed, I share relevant stories of my fitness journey to motivate and inspire them to continue to reach their desired goals. When my clients report their progress in specific areas, I make sure to cheer on their growth to influence them to keep up the good work.
In my previous employment, I witnessed a 20% increase in program retention with the clientele that I served. I was often informed by clients that my positive demeanor and enthusiasm as a trainer kept them coming back for training sessions.
